Whitespace
AI meditation, written for you
Say what is on your mind. Thirty seconds later, a meditation written for exactly that. It remembers what each one leaves behind, and turns it into steps you can take.
How it fits together
How you feel, what you learn about yourself, and what you do about it feed each other. Anything a meditation surfaces can become your next real-world step. Some of those steps are meditations, which is where the loop closes.
There is no journal to keep. Meditating, talking and checking things off is what writes your history, and the history is what the insights come from.
A look inside
Each one feeds the next. A meditation leaves a takeaway, the takeaway becomes a step, and some steps are meditations.
It remembers
No forms, no tagging. One week, as it actually goes.
"I can't switch off from work."
Three takeaways. The last one you could do tonight.
"That intention about mornings sounds like part of your sleep goal. Connect them?"
The next meditation knows, and says so.
"Not because life changed, but because my mind had space."

"I didn't realize how loud my mind was until I sat in silence."
@kim_metaxl"I've been functioning but I haven't been healing."
@0x_reisuna"I actually dozed off in the middle of it."
Ellen, on X"I struggle with anxiety that hides behind productivity."

Two-minute resets and today's minute are free forever. Whitespace Elevate is everything else, unlimited.
7 days free, then $99.99 a year. Each friend who joins adds 7 days to your trial. Three friends, and your next month of Elevate is free.
Those apps give you pre-recorded meditations from a fixed library, the same one everyone else gets. Whitespace writes each meditation around what you actually bring to it: your goal, your block, your moment. No two are the same.
And Whitespace remembers. Every meditation leaves takeaways, takeaways become real-world steps, and the next meditation builds on what surfaced.
Mental rehearsal is one of the most studied techniques in performance psychology. Athletes, surgeons and astronauts use it to train outcomes before they happen. Whitespace applies the same principle, personally, to whatever you are working through. Your inner state shapes your outer results.
Bring whatever you have: a single tap on a curated program, one sentence, or everything on your mind. Whitespace shapes that into a guided meditation voiced specifically for you. The more you share, the more precisely it is built. Even a word is enough to start.
One plan, everything unlimited: meditations written for you, your mood history and takeaways in Reflect, your goals, and the meditations you give. $14.99 a month or $99.99 a year, starting with 7 days free. Each friend who joins adds 7 more days, and three friends make your next month free. Cancel anytime.
Parts of it, forever. Two-minute resets and today's minute, the same minute for everyone, every day, are free for good, no card required. Everything else is Whitespace Elevate, and you get 7 days of it free when you sign up.
iOS, Android and the web. Download free from the App Store or Google Play, or open the web app in a browser. Same account, same history, nothing to install. A meditation someone sends you plays in the browser with no account at all.
Yes, and it stays deliberately small: no feed, no followers, nobody suggested to you. You can send one person a meditation you made, and you decide each time whether your name goes with it. It opens in their browser and plays without an app or an account. Invite someone properly and you both get 7 free days.
Yes, and it is getting stronger. We do not sell your data, ever, and what you share stays between you and Whitespace. Rolling out now is a private key, made on your device and never held by us, that seals what is most yours: your chats with Whitespace, their summaries, what Whitespace remembers about you, what you asked for in your own words, and your reflections and mood notes.
There is no copy of that key on our servers and no reset link, because a reset link would be a way in for someone who is not you. It travels with your account, so a new phone or a browser picks it up, and it reaches backwards over everything you had already written.
Some things stay readable either way: the words and audio of your meditations, so your library stays searchable and a meditation you send can play; your name, because it is spoken aloud; and counts and timings, which have no words in them. Full detail in the privacy policy.
Private keys are switching on in stages, our own accounts first. Not in France yet, where encryption needs a government sign-off we are still waiting on.About
Andrew Chu, Founder
I've been interested in meditation for years, and I could never keep a practice going. I read a lot about affirmations and consciousness, and I wanted to use them on the most practical thing I could think of: playing better basketball at my weekly pickup game.
Nothing I tried was made for that. Not the big meditation apps, not Spotify, not YouTube. They all hand you the same recording they hand everyone else. So I built the one I wanted.
The name came from my son, at the dinner table.
